Colleen Hill, an Ann Arbor native, moved to Detroit in the Fall of 2003 to attend the College for Creative Studies. Since graduating from CCS in May of 2007, she participated in De Program, a three-week long intensive graduate course in the Netherlands, studying with Lust and NLXL. After spending three years working at a small firm in Royal Oak she now currently works at Washtenaw Community College as a web designer.

Colleen is the programming director for the AIGA Detroit chapter. So far her favorite experience volunteering with AIGA was having the pleasure to meet one of her favorite designers, the lovely Cheryl Towler Weese, and discovering that Colleen is in fact taller than her, though only by an inch (a rare discovery).

Outside of graphic design Colleen enjoys: watching the Daily Show, Arrested Development and Dexter, Cooking vegetarian fare, a fine glass of cabernet, organizing and color coding things, going to concerts, listening to This American Life, Sarah Vowell and Mike Birbiglia, all things Eames and spending time with her two cats.
