Serving on the AIGA Detroit board has been an incredibly fulfilling and rewarding experience. During my tenure, I've watched the Detroit chapter grow from 220 members to 520+ members, triple its number of partners and sponsors, and host over thirty events in a single year.
My involvement has also granted me personal benefit. I've gained countless professional contacts and made lifelong friends both locally and across the country. As programming director I had the great opportunity to discuss the Wish You Were Here competition on WDET's The Craig Fahle Show, I was interviewed twice in Real Detroit Weekly, and presented the Detroit chapter success story at the 2011 national board retreat.
